not completely sure why i love this picture. all i know is that i do. aand, shes wearing doc martens!! therefore im pretty much jealous.

so the past few days have been relatively interesting, i spent the day in napa with my mom and brother just walking around and looking in stores, and we saw despicable me, which was actually pretty good. the minions were the best part ;) i saw this awesome clothing store, i wanted to go in but we were running out of time so we had to run. no music store though, thats direly {wondering if that's a word} needed. anyways then me and three of mi amigos went and saw salt, which i dont know if i was just like half asleep or something but i am still trying to figure out. hopefully i was just half asleep, cause otherwise i would feel semi pathetic. but it was pretty good though, it was one of those movies that i kept predicting and then pretty much the total opposite would happen, which is awesome. those are the best type of movies.

then today i helped at my neighbors' garge sale. got a cool ying yang ring and some earrings i'm going to see if i can bend into a necklace. this one guy was talking about losing good grip as you get older and he was saying 'we're just not geckos anymore.' i don't know why but i sort of love this for some unknown reason. it just sort of stuck in my brain and has been going in circles in my mind all day...don't ask. because i have no clue.
anyway that has been my last 24 hours ;) i have been attempting a paul mccartney concert post for a few days now but the video wont load, so i dont know. hopefully it'll be up in a few days!

also...one of the best. songs. EVER is my heart, by paramore {of course}...its been stuck in my head for 3 days straight so far. if you haven't already, give it a listen when you can. i love. ;)

For a pessimist, i'm pretty optimistic.

well, i'm back to my nostalgic self. actually i was expecting it to hit alot sooner, usually like halfway through summer, but anyway. i realized i have less than three weeks left of summer. which, i'm sorry, is really depressing. how did that go so fast? not to mention the severe lack of any actual summer weather...it rained last night. yep, i was pretty upset at mother nature. anyways, enough complaining, gotta be glass half full, right? so.
also, i am still in love with paramore and so even though its not the title song...in honor of the rain in july, here it is. <3

you make me feel like i am free again.

ahh i love the summer so much. the past week has been spent swimming, sleeping, kayaking, running, roasting marshmallows, catching fish, starting campfires, riding bikes, driving {yes, my parents have finally let me drive}, and simply having an amazing time camping at Loon Lake, one of my absolute favorite places ever, i have decided. it was the type of water that you would drink, and i did actually, mostly by accident, but anyways. it was sooo gorgeous.

we went swimming everyday and kayaking, i tended to forget to paddle...seriously... there were all these little islands out in the middle and i explored most of them. it was sort of amazing. the water was really cold...like REALLY cold, but it was perfect anyway. jumping off the dock was the best.
anyway that was my fun week, it was pretty sweet. also on the way back we drove though sacramento and i found my favorite radio station, but. guess what? totally my luck, obviously you can only get it in sacramento! so now i have to constantly steal the computer to listen. oh well. its the only station i've ever found that i actually like most...pretty much all the songs they play. 94.7 FM if you were wondering ;)


aaand also, one of my friends came over breifly with her new puppy {!}, he's sooo cute!! and noow i think there might, MIGHT, be a chance my parents will maybe consider getting a dog? i have been trying to get them to get a dog for, literally, years. i think what i need to do is find a dog on the side of the road who has no home and bring it home and be like this dog needs us!! hehe i dunno, anyway, i would love a dog. so. much. also, these pictures are mine! finally. i need to stop stealing pictures off the internet, if its stealing anyway,but i can never find good pictures that i took. so, sorry if i stole anyones pictures! anyway, i'm psyched for a fun weekend and enjoying the sun, hope you love it as much as i do ;)

whoa. long time no blog. the 4th seems like a looong time ago, i dont know why. how does time pass so quickly anyway?
ok so one of the totally awesome things i have done since then is...i saw paul mccartney in concert! yep. paul Freakin mccartney ;) he totally kicked ass too. it was really amazing, he was such a cool person, and he played a ton of beatles songs and they sounded so. amazing. anyway so that was preeeetty cool. and so now i am even more obsessed with the beatles than i was.
and some other current in love withs:
doc martens {i found the sweetest pair on ebay, they were black with sort of retro-y flowers on them...wanted them so bad but they went for like $200.} but i'm still looking. ;)
Aerosmith, just got one of their greatest hits cds and i'm sort of in love. also...whoever reads this you should listen to dream on when you get a chance, i love that song.
duck tape, not sure why. {yes i'm aware its actually DUCT tape, but that kinda ruined it when i found out it had nothing to do with a duck.}
hmm. the other night i pulled an all nighter with some friends and at like three in the morning when we were doing coke shots we saw this thing in the sky and we were like ufo!! it was weird it hovered for a little and then it slooowly moved towards us, flew right over us. then yesterday there was ufos in china...inneresting. hehe. aaaand. me and one of my friends wrote a song called...the pegacorn. we've pretty much decided we are going to be famous for it. ;) anyway, just thought i'd put that out there. we, are. very. special.

ok, so whoever ends up reading this, just comment if you have any, but any music suggestions? because i am in some serious need of new music right now. right now im in a led zeppelin/nirvana/beatles/third eye blind phase, but i know like all the words. so.

ok so, i am now bored with this post, so...sorry. i wish i had this really long list of awesome stuff that happened to me, but sadly. my life is not very interesting. so i just talk about...nothing. oh well.

i feel fireworks when i think of you.

well yesterday was...the third of july. which to anyone else who doesnt live here would be like, so? but. we cool hippy people are unique in that we have our fireworks on the...third. it was actually really awesome. went back to my school for the first time in a month, which has felt like alot more than a month, trust me. and saw some people i had {really} missed. i smiled alot, certain things made me so happy. and i absolutely adore that. and the fireworks were sort of amazing. i wish i had taken pictures or a video or something, but even if i had, i think it would have been something that you just have to see for real, because pictures wouldn't do it justice. anyway, it was pretty awesome. then me and two of my friends went to safeway to wait for our rides, and guess what i was labeled? the blondest of the group. how the hell did that happen? i'm almost insulted. one of my friends came home with me to wait for her ride at my house and we were sitting in the kitchen eating cherries, and we needed somewhere to put the pits. so i went and got a bowl, and she was like, its a pit bowl! ...{like pitbull}. it took forever for me to get it, and actually her too. but it was totally perfect. anyway i wish i had more to say, but i don't really. or don't want to put it up here...in case some random stranger stumbles upon my blog. oh and also, i have rediscovered my special talent. i can tie cherry stems in a knot with my tongue. i am so proud, i had totally forgotten about that. you know how people sometimes ask, so what are you like really good at? or something not many people know about you? and now i have something to tell them! i've been able to do it since i was like 8, but anyway. i'm sure no one really cares, but that sort of made me a little happy. among other things.

Nice shades.

i went and saw eclipse last night with a couple of friends, and ok. it was actually kind of good. ok so not like 5 stars or anything, but it was definitely better than the first two. i dont know, i'm still on the fence as to how much i like it. but it was fun anyway. and this is the first july post, just thought i'd put that out there. looking forward to the fireworks anyone? i find it odd that for some reason we have our fireworks on the 3rd of july instead of the 4th.
